Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012

Me greedily unboxing my new phone 😀 I love it so far, it’s got all the nice stuff that I can do. * Uses T-Mobile’s “4G” (3G but uses HSPA+) network * Plan starts at a month (100 talk minutes, unlimited texting, and unlimited web [First 5GB at 4G speed, rest of the month will be 2G/EDGE speed]) * Runs on Android 2.3.5 (Rootable with SuperOneClick) * Specifications: – 1GHz Snapdragon single-core processor (2nd gen) – 512MB of RAM (Although I’m seeing only ~350MB in the task manager, so I’m presuming either the kernel only allocates 384MB of RAM or T-Mobile has lied to us) – 3.2MP camera with LED flash – Front-facing camera – Plastic capacitive multi-touch touchscreen – 3.7″ TFT display – ~2GB built-in memory for apps and user data (Accepts up to a 32GB microSD card) – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, Internet Tethering Detailed specification sheet: All this, with no contract and decent plans for 0. The plan with the 100 talk minutes is exclusively for phones purchased from T-Mobile’s website,, and Wal-Mart stores. Purchase it at:

A tutorial on how to use your own ringtones and messaging tones for your LG Rumor Touch for Virgin Mobile (possibly Sprint). Ringtones: rename the .mp3 file’s extension (or whatever file) to: .3g2 extension, then drag and drop somewhere on your phones micro SD card (or use technique for the message tones). Then just navigate to where you put it, and assign it to whatever you want using the menu, or “more” option. Message Tones: rename the .mp3 file’s extension (or whatever file) to: .qcp extension, then email to your phone at : (1234567 – being YOUR phone number). Once received as a text message, just assign it from the message itself using the menu, or “more” option.

Did you know your CELL PHONE has a name? Try this: 1st step: from your mobile number number, take the last 3 numbers. Example- 780-496-9684 , take “684”only … … 2nd step: Write this @*[684:0] on Facebook, replacing the 3 numbers with your own. 3rd step: remove the * sign and press enter and your name will appear! It’s sweet! -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- PEOPLE, this does NOT work on YouTube so STOP commenting with your attempts of finding out your name. IT ONLY WORKS ON FACEBOOK.

Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660M Android 2.3 Gingerbread Smartphone Review in High Definition

      Monday, February 6th, 2012

EXPAND FOR MORE INFORMATION — This video represents the FIFTH (count ’em, 5) video that I produce on the Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660M Android 2.3 Gingerbread mobile smartphone. Prior to this video, I had produced the following: Unboxing of the Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660M Android Smartphone from Bell Mobility Prepaid Service How to transfer pictures and video from the Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660M to your computer Personal Opinion Review: Samsung Galaxy Gio GTS5660 Vs Lg Optimus One LGP500H Economical Alternative to the Apple iPod Touch 4th Gen ( Versus Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660M ) and this video now represents the fifth video in the series. The question remains: Will you learn anything new in this video that was not already covered in the previous videos I produced? The answer is “probably not”, however, for anyone who wants an overview and review of JUST the Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660M alone, including its Samsung Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, then this is the video to watch. In order to create some further differentiation between the previously produced videos and this one, I also shot this video in glorious high definition (HD) for your viewing pleasure (actually, I did this in order for the video to better display what was appearing on the touchscreen, and it turns out that shooting in HD didn’t make a whole lotta difference compared to the other videos I shot in standard definition
