What does your 9-digit cell phone number add up to?

Saturday, April 24th, 2010

Add up all 9 digits of your cell phone number on your desktop calculator and post your answer. DON’T POST your cell number, just the final total. If you post "81" as an answer, don’t waste your time (999 is not a valid area code). Let’s see how many people get confused :)

ME = 50

POLL: Jiggle •OR• Wiggle?

Is there a free online method of finding a full cell phone number when you are missing the last two numbers?

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

A friend of mine from America phoned me from her hotel yesterday. She is going to be moving around a lot and gave me her cell phone number. It was a terrible line reception and just like in a movie, the call went dead before she’d finished telling me her cell number. She’d given me 8 digits and I need the last 2. Yes, I could wait until she calls me again, but I don’t want her to always be the one facing the large phone bills. I have her name and home address, etc, so is there any way I can get the last couple of numbers for free somehow? Thanks in advance.
